Tyga kicked things off setting a quite high epitome for the show. The LA rapper performed fan favorites like “Rack City” and “Make It Nasty” before passing things off to Trey Songz. Famed for his irresistible approach to the ladies, ‘Trigga did just that, all the while serving up his impeccable catalogue of chart-toppers. Chris Brown was last to make an appearance on the stage as a solo act, running through his hits dating all the way back to his break-out single “Run It” to more recent cuts off of his latest album X.
Following the solo run through, Chris and Trey returned to the stage as a unit. The two went on to put on what many would deem a battle of the sex-driven ballads. Breezy performed bedroom classics like “No Bullsh*t” and “2012,” while Trey hit the audience with tracks like “Neighbors Know My Name” and “Dive In.” Following the head-to-head, even though there was no pressure to determine a winner, Trey Songz returned solo to perform songs off of his most recent LP, Trigga, with the addition of a few dancers.
Chris Brown closed out the show with assistance from Tyga, saving their top collaborations for last. “Loyal” and “Ayo” were final songs performed, obviously to leave desires for their upcoming Fan Of A Fan album at an all time high.
All in all, last night’s show proved one thing to be true, and that is the trio has some undeniably loyal fans. Rain or shine, blizzard or hurricane; nothing can hold back true fans.
