50 was apparently upset that Yayo included Mike Lighty on the Instagram post.
Last week, Baller Alert highlighted a comment 50 Cent made on an Instagram post shared by G-Unit affiliate Tony Yayo.
The image Yayo shared – which has since been deleted – depicted former Hip Hop executive and Violator founder, Chris Lighty. Yayo captioned the photo: "TBT Rip Chris Legend @MikeLighty" followed by a series of hand-praying emojis.
Apparently, this upset 50 Cent.
Fif commented on Yayo's Instagram post, saying: "Yayo why you shouting Mike bitch ass out."
Mike's brother, Chris, was influential in 50 Cent's career before he passed away in 2012.
Nearly a decade earlier, Lighty helped 50 land one of the largest brand endorsement deals in Hip Hop. He negotiated 50's mega-deal with Vitmain Water and when Coca-Cola dished out $4.1 billion to acquire the drink, 50 and Lighty cashed out.
It's unclear, at the moment, when the rift between Mike Lighty and 50 began.
