“His birthday falls on a Tuesday, which is the day music is released to the world,” said Game. “It’s kinda perfect timing.”
Game has been going hard for the last few months to keep his verses fresh. The former G-Unit memeber dropped recent new tracks like “Rida” featuring Dej Loaf and “The Soundtrack” featuring Meek Mill.
“Being a father and making music, since the beginning of my career, that’s been my everyday motivation.” he said. “I use my kids as energy.”
The Documentary served as hip-hops full introduction to the Compton-bred MC when it dropped in January 2005. With singles like “Westside Story” and “Hate It or Love It” the Aftermath Entertainment signee brought a gritty, gravel-voiced West Coast sound to air waves and had everyone feeling like the underdog on top.
Fans have been patiently waiting for The Game’s The Documentary 2 ever since the LP’s Jan. 18 release date was pushed back. The album will reportedly have beats from Dr. Dre, Scott Storch and Just Blaze. Expect more album news of The Documentary 2 to start rolling in just as the summer heats up.
