Battle Rappers A Threat To Artist Says 50 Cent

 

Are Battle rappers a threat to artist? Well 50 cent says that these new rappers and artist would be in for it if a battle rapper got on a track. Lately if you pay attention to the shots 50 has taken at everyone , in my prior post, you notice when he discredits someone he is merely just saying they can’t keep up with the times. In the very same interview he said how he felt about battle rappers and he had something nice to say … for once.


This past weekend URL.TV the Battle Rap league had another huge event that sold out Irving Plaza. From B.E.T cyphers and new reality shows, it seems like Battle Rap has taken a major role in the hip hop culture. So much of an impact that 50 cent says they could possibly shake the game. Battle rappers a threat to artist ? That’s what he said ! If a battler rapper like Charlie Clips, D.N.A or Hollow da don made music would they automatically blow these new Young Thug, O.T Genasis (in love w the coco star) right out the water? Not to mention Drake has already been getting called out to battle.
50 stated , if he took a track with a great beat and a hook , and had any of the battle rappers right a nice 16 on it they most certainly capable of creating a record so hot it would be a threat to rappers and artist of our time. A few of them already are in the works of making music so I guess we shall wait and see who transitions. 50 seemed to have a lot of faith in that statement. Other big time artist like Method Man, Joe Budden and Cassidy always attend the events. Drake was at the one this past weekend. Legend Kid Capri seem to think so as well. He even created an album solely off of battle rap excerpts.
