NBA: Allen Iverson On Kyrie & Steph: “Those Guys Are Next Level, I Didn’t Have The Handle They Do”

 

 A lot of former players love to preach about how good their era was in comparison to current players, but Allen Iverson has been showing a lot of love to the younger guys. He has said repeatedly that Russell Westbrook is his favorite player and now he is showing Steph Curry & Kyrie Irving some love too.

Iverson on Stephen Curry and Kyrie Irving, via Showtime Sports:
“Those guys are next level. I didn’t have the handle they do.”
Iverson said that during his documentary titled “Iverson” which will air tonight, May 16th at 9pm. I have to agree and disagree with AI on this topic.
While it is true Steph & Kyrie probably have better overall handles, Iverson’s speed and quickness was deadly and I would have to believe he is quicker than both of these young boys so it would have been fun to see. Respect to AI for always being genuine and honest.
