50 Cent Discusses Turning 40

 

 

50 Cent talks with Jimmy Kimmel about his upcoming fortieth birthday.

50 Cent will turn 40 July 6. 

The Queens, New York rapper says that he approaches making music differently than he did early in his career.

“I gotta work on it ‘cause sometimes I write things and it’s like where I’m at, where I’m at right now,” 50 Cent says during an interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live! "It’s like, ‘That makes a lot of sense. Take that out.’ You can’t have maturity in your music.”

Earlier this week, 50 Cent said that his Street King Immortal album will come out in September.
