Bobby Shmurda was caught
with a sharpened metal instrument while in jail this week and has been
charged with "promoting prison contraband," according to XXL.
The rapper appeared in court yesterday (June 25), where he was given his trial date for murder and weapons charges that he was arrested for in December.
The contraband charge will not be included in the original indictment, which includes more than 100 charges.
