Mike XXL and DJ Truly Odd of Heavyweight Radio weigh in on streaming as a part of today's (June 1) DX Daily.
Mike XXL and DJ Truly Odd of Heavyweight Radio
recently stopped by HipHopDX Headquarters and talked about how
streaming affects artists both monetarily and as far as receiving credit
is concerned.
"I just hope they start giving their artists their due, their respect due," Mike XXL said when asked about music streaming in a segment via DX Daily. "I don't like them getting these punk ass checks and they're getting 6 million plays and they're over here getting these boo boo checks. I hope someone stands up for that. If there's anything I need to sign or come step out for y'all can holler at me for that 'cause that's some bullshit."
Truly Odd felt a little different and says streaming doesn't really affect him.
"It doesn't affect me in any way so I don't really look at it as any type of threat," he said.
